Kiddo

René Gallo - René Gallo is a screenwriter and a director. In 2017 he finished his studies at Palunko, a screenwriting school. For the past 5 years, he has been working on various film and TV sets. Whether working on short or feature films, he has been working as an assistant director, gaining direct knowledge from prolific directors, such as Gabriele Salvatores, Antoneta Alamat Kusijanović, and Rok Biček. In 2020 he got his first funding for his short film Kiddo, provided by the town of Rijeka and HAVC, along with Antitalent. He is currently admitting an application for funding for his new short film called Wrong Way (Krivi put), provided by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC). The project has been selected as part of the Script Station at Sarajevo Talents this year. In the meantime, he is working on his debut feature film called Only Son (Jedinac) and a TV-series called Kozjak.
