The child fairy Sihja stumbles into the life of young Alfred and turns his family's life upside down. She questions the family members' habits and idiosyncrasies. In unison, Alfred and Sihja take up the fight against both the pollution from the local fertiliser factory and a mad professor. In order to prevent an environmental disaster, together they have to overcome their fears.
