To stay or to go? How does one find happiness during a pandemic? This omnibus film by five directing students from Sarajevo focuses on people in search of a better life and the longing for a home.

Life is not easy in Sarajevo, yet during these times of corona it's even more difficult. Rea Memić's film 21 tells of Katarina and her boyfriend; she paints him, he allows himself to be painted. Tensions arise when she receives her long-awaited acceptance letter from a Berlin university. ICH SOLLTE GEHEN, by Sara Ristić and Emina Šehić, tells of staying and leaving: Actress Iman is supposed to star in a film in the USA whilst nurse Suzana doesn't yet feel ready to return to Germany. In DAS GELBE KAMEL by Alma Cocaj, a film student from Kosovo who has lost her papers encounters a young Bosnian who is studying design in Paris yet cannot return due to the pandemic. ERZÄHL MIR ETWAS SCHÖNES from Mirela Salihović is about medical student Nina, who has to answer all sorts of absurd questions at the Covid call centre in Sarajevo until she receives a call that truly touches her: a depressed young man talks about his terminally ill dog. This second omnibus film dedicated to the everyday lives of young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, produced by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Sarajevo, consists of four feature films by five students from the Sarajevo Film Academy.
