The Time She Comes
Maxim's everyday life is full of sadness. Not only has his wife broken up with him, but she also has a new lover, whilst his son constantly wants to play hide and seek. He finds no fulfilment in his work, even more so given he appears to be on the verge of being fired. And then there's his room-mate, who is constantly helping himself to his groceries. One day he witnesses an accident and gives first aid; Varvara, the victim of accident, was even pronounced clinically dead for a short time. She survives and Maxim visits her in hospital. A relationship develops between the two of them that helps Maxim to reach new heights and yet, at some point, the tide turns, as newfound hope gives way to a growing threat.
Russian actor, screenwriter and director Aleksandr Tsoy presents here a debut feature-length film that evolves from drama to thriller with occasional elements of horror. And an unexpected ending.
