Life is full of colour. Vanya doesn't want to grow up. Instead she and her friends, on a drug-fuelled rampage, wander the streets and stream the whole thing on the Internet. They live a life of freedom in a barn, where they run riot whilst the rest of society is monitored by an algorithm. The group feels invincible, until the moment when Vanya is classified online as an adult and allocated a job. A place to herself, her own car and all the while the AI hums in the background, repeating: "You now have the chance to grow up." It's not that easy however, since life suddenly starts to get serious and Vanya consequently regrets the time she has wasted and will now never get back in this enthralling experiment with style that alternates between modish Super 8 footage, infrared film, livestream and CinemaScope aesthetics, in the process conveying the life philosophy, allure and perhaps futility of modern party cultures, lived out by a generation that finds itself drowning in existential indifference.
