Growing Pains

Growing Pains

Ellen Rodnianski
Russia, 2020, 26 Min

Youthful, wild and intense. She is at odds with the authorities, and has issues at home too. Zhenya hasn't even grown up and yet finds herself nine months pregnant. Though she likes to provoke, she is actually just looking for warmth and intimacy. But where? Run away with the child's father, who is no less young and lost? An atmospheric, fast-moving coming-of-age search for the right path in life.
