Trailer
A poetic portrait of an old house by the lake, somewhere in the Hungarian wilderness. A place where one can not only penetrate the elements, but also the mind of a man who cannot let go. Bogdan Dumitrache, familiar to audiences from Berlinale winner „Child’s Pose“ (2013), portrays man's decay and ultimate resurrection in a most harrowing performance. Bence and Janka find themselves in a relationship crisis that suddenly comes to a standstill. In his dreams Bence is eaten away by maggots, that is until a new woman and new hope appears in the form of Norá. Director Cecília Felméri spectacularly sheds light on deep psychological processes by means of a series of natural spectacles whilst inviting viewers to immerse themselves in seldom seen parallel words both magical and, at times, desolate.
