Shortly before Christmas Lara ends up in a youth psychiatric ward. There, together with three fellow inmates and an unconventional psychiatrist, she ends up spending a holiday to remember.Lara has bigger problems to worry about than preparing for Christmas. The conflict with her parents comes to a head when she's send to a psychiatric ward over the holiday period. There she meets three fellow adolescents, who couldn't be more different. Assisted by an extraordinary psychiatrist the young patients begin to open up, as a result of which they sample a most unusual Christmas experience. A tragicomedy on youths forced to find their own path in life. AS/JN

Theresa von Eltz - – born 1978 in Bonn, Germany. She studied History and Politics in Berlin. After graduating with an MA in History from Oxford University, she studied fiction direction at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, UK. She has made several awarded short films and commercials. 4 KINGS is her debut feature film.
