winterlieb - libawka

Wintergreen is still growing in the undergrowth, yet signs on trees show the way for the harvester which the excavators will follow. Sometimes Edith and Kito remove the red colour, as they demonstrate against open pit mining or sing Sorbian hymns in the forest. Following on from CERNE JAGODY - BLAUBEEREN Maja Nagel and Julius Günzel document the destruction of both a landscape and culture, the fight of a Sorbian David against the overpowering Goliath. The framework is provided by a poem by Róža Domašcyna for Edith Penk with the question: "who owns the land". GL
