A romantic comedy about an actor caught between a relationship crisis, self-pity and a game of hide-and-seek: on the outside Veljko pretends that everything is fine. His wife Jadrana wants to talk, yet runs up against a brick wall with her request. Daughter Vida doesn't speak any more. At some point however it is no longer enough to bury your head in the sand, sooner or later it will be Christmas. A family celebration.

While waiting for his big role Veljko gets by on frivolous leading roles in ridiculous commercials. He runs away from his marital crisis, defying his wife's anger and the increasingly probing inquiries from his in-laws. In the evening he waits in the car until the light in the shared apartment has gone out, and then calmly and quietly lies down for the night on the living room couch. The whole universe has conspired against him, a solution is, needless to say, not in sight, Veljko prefers to stay on the defensive. Gordan Kičić, who himself plays the main role, presents an apt analysis, full of melancholy and irony, of male failure to deal with marital crisis situations. When is a man a man? BB
