Opowiesc o dwóch siostrach

Two elderly sisters live next door to each other in a prefabricated apartment building. Growing old is not a pleasure: the fight against physical decline dictates the course of everyday life. In addition there is the aggressive political reporting of the media, which poisons the time they spend together. Employing subtle powers of observation the film portrays the dignity of ageing, whilst Bach's music lends at least a touch of hope to the intrusive backdrop of everyday Polish politics. KM
