An encounter between two people who are each planning something big for the first time, with an uncertain outcome. Sergei is finally released from prison and wants to meet his daughter Masha, whom he has never seen before. A young woman is up to something even more important however.

On the way to the subway Sergei buys a small doll for his daughter and then calls his wife. Will he finally be able to see Masha? At the same time we see a young woman in a basement room. She prepares a home-made bomb and puts it in her backpack. On the way to the subway she crosses paths with Sergei. He has meanwhile spoken to his wife on the phone. She refuses to talk, Sergei is frustrated. He gives the doll to the young woman standing next to him at the train station…. MM
