Both live in a small town by the sea. There is a lot of gossip to exchange: who with whom? And those two there got married because they had to and now their first child is on the way ... But Aylin has been short-spoken for some time now, instead she prefers to share her secrets with Mert. For Irmak this represents the foreseeable yet bitter end of a time spent together, a phase of life. Placed beneath a veneer of restraint, a coming-of-age story with emotional impact is unfurled by director Ozan Yoleri. All the while, if quite unobtrusively, a universal portrait of a small town with its slow-paced rhythm of life and large number of suppressed conflicts develops. BB
