The Photograph
A sensitive young man and avid photographer, Adam lives with his parents, prisoners of an unrewarding marriage. One day Adam stumbles across an old photo on which his pregnant mother is pictured, accompanied by a man who isn't Adam's father. Adam resolves to visit his grandmother by the sea in order to get to the bottom of this mystery. There he encounters not only the mysterious man from the photo, but also new friends and his first love. A touching film that confronts its main character with major issues such as friendship, love and death.

Maciej Adamek - – born 1968 in Gdansk. Director and screenplay writer. Graduated from the foreign languages department of the University of Gdansk and later studied directing at the PWSFTviT in Łodz. Was awarded with Hartley-Merrill Screenwriting Prize for ZDJĘCIE in 2006. Adamek is a member of the European Film Academy.
