Trailer
At first Stefan's reaction seems exaggerated, and yet his desperate face reveals the gravity of the situation. Likewise, Hania's initial, stoical distance is hard to comprehend until it becomes clear that this is just a facade behind which she conceals her fragile emotional state. In fact, she herself fled the parents' house several years ago and has given up once-enjoyed privileges for a simple but secure life. Even today she is struggling with the trauma.
In her directing debut Agata Minowska graciously deals with her characters' feelings in a work which demonstrates how important honesty, understanding and solidarity are in finally healing old wounds. DJ
