Trailer
His father was the last person to see him on the night on his graduation party. They argued as usual, the son leaves the house to get some fresh air and then: he is dead. Driven by a never-ending sense of guilt the father wants to see the victims brought to justice. Akin to a man possessed, he confronts a web of indifference, judicial irregularities and mafia involvement, in the process of which he becomes increasingly alienated from his wife and daughter.
The dark atmosphere of the film is matched by its dark, blue and grey tones and the anonymous ambience of the huge seventies-era complex in which one can easily get lost. Inspired by the unsolved murder of a Bratislava University student back in 2005, Teodor Kuhn's feature film celebrated its premiere on the first anniversary of the brutal murder of up-and-coming investigative journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kušnírová.
