… as Georg increasingly neglects Charlotte in favour of a gig at a music festival, where he is to perform a DJ set. On the outer edges of the camping-site Charlotte encounters self-styled high-priest Benno (Peter Marty) and the mysterious dropout Tami (Tala Al Deen) to whom Charlotte feels an attraction. Soon both of them evolve into intimate companions on Charlotte's journey of self-discovery. © FF MOP

In this, her dissertation film at the University of Television and Film Munich, Katharina Ludwig transfers the troubles of a young couple to the summertime Adriatic coast. The peace and calm in which they hope to repair their relationship soon prove illusionary however, as the trip gradually evolves into a series of existential experiences: the heat over the Mediterranean coast, coloured as it is by homoeroticism and somewhat overbearing esoteric discussions, provides the backdrop for the emotional disintegration of a relationship gone stale as opposed to the hoped for clear-the-air discussions and new-found lease of life.
