Trailer
Milan is a carefree family man who wants to ensure that his children and wife in a small Slovakian village have a good standard of living and therefore works abroad as a carpenter. When he comes home from Bavaria for Christmas, he discovers that there are problems with his eldest son Adam. The boy is rarely at home and has been a member of a paramilitary right-wing youth group for some time. It is said to have driven a boy to his death, and Adam is also supposed to have been involved. Milan has to make some decisions and do something: for his son, for the family, and for the parents of the dead boy. And he must bid farewell to many previous certainties in his life. Director Marko Škop's second feature film sees him successfully revisiting the phenomenon of right-wing militia in Slovakia, which Jan Gebert had already described in his documentary AŽ PŘIJDE VÁLKA | WHEN THE WAR COMES (2018), in an extremely impressive and oppressively authentic way.
