An American delegation wants to visit the area, in order to examine the planting of Sal willows (lat. Salix Caprea) accomplished two years ago. However, the trees have long since been eaten by goats, only a silted-up place has remained from the generous gift. The mayor and his police chief do everything in their power to find the rare trees. This quickly turns out to be impossible and so extraordinary ideas are sought to solve the problem. But ideas are not the strength of the functionaries. A bitter satire with absurd dialogues about everyday life in Moldova. MM
