KAVA PO KOLU

Taras wants to fly on holidays with his family, but the evening before members of the military are at the door and take him with them. They have been looking for him all day – that’s how important he is. In the last moment he escapes military service, but a conversation with a few volunteers continues to have an effect on him.

The Ukrainian director Oleksandr Soldatov creates documentaries and docudramas and devotes this film to military service, which many men in the Ukraine try to avoid. But how much of his own conviction is in the short film and how much of it is propaganda?  NaF
