The train continues on its bumpy journey. The boy follows it, and he’s already there to greet the girl when the train enters the next station. And the same thing happens at the next station. A connection gradually develops between both of them without any words having been spoken. Their glances at one another and a smile speak louder than words.
George Ovashvili shows great sensitivity in his portrayal of a human encounter and plays with clichés and expectations. MM

George Ovashvili - born in 1963 in Mzcheta, Georgia. He studied directing at the Shota Rustaveli University for Theatre and Film in Tbilisi. In addition to his work as a film director, he worked for several years as an actor and theatre director. His feature film debut GAGMA NAPIRI has won many awards. With KHIBULA he was already a guest at the Feature Film Competition of last year’s FFC.
