Trailer
Criminal Investigator Justa and her team are investigating an Afghanistan veteran who has disposed of nearly all members of his military unit since his return. In an undercover mission, however, everything goes awry: A key witness is murdered, Justa kidnapped and then put on leave. Secretly she remains on the case – and thus brings herself and her colleagues in a quandary: The suspect kidnaps her daughter and asks Justa to reveal the whereabouts of the last living witness. The policewoman decides to go to extremes. After numerous internationally award-winning documentary films portraying life in Afghanistan, director Beata Dzianowicz discusses Polish action on NATO involvement in the Hindu Kush with a police action film. A directorial debut that is not afraid to shine a light on the depths of its protagonist’s personalities. Thrilling, sensitive, action-packed and frenetically fast-paced. WK
