Soon the mood changes. We are landing literally in Poland, landing in a grey village in the middle of nowhere. After years abroad, Marcin returns to Poland and has big plans. He wants to realize them together with his great love from before. But things have gone on in the village without Marcin and time left its mark. Gradually, he realizes that he has become a stranger in his old homeland and a connection to the old life becomes a show of strength. SWEET HOME CZYŻEWO is a subtle ballad about life and love – and the facts that are there and cannot be ignored. KM
SWEET HOME CZYŻEWO will be presented by the Solanin Film Festival in Nowa Sól.
