Milutin has few illusions left. He has lost his home countries or ideologies between earth and space as the years passed. He is now embarking on a new journey into space with Nimani – an artificially created, attractive, and highly intelligent female homunculus. He soon starts developing feelings for the machine woman that go beyond the sexual. But the situation is changed dramatically when he tries to manipulate her internal programme in order to set her free. The space adventure, made with a small budget and big ambitions, is a genre and experimental film in equal measure, presenting love and the battle of the sexes as a science fiction chamber play with only three actors, including the well-known feminist New York-based porn actress Stoya in the role of Nimani. Lazar Bodroža - born in 1983 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia (today Serbia). He is a director, visual artist, and the co-founder and director of the design studio METAKLINIKA. He graduated from the University of Arts in Belgrade. EDERLEZI RISING is his feature film debut, which won four prizes at this year's International Film Festival Belgrade.
