Trailer
Frieda doesn't want to work anymore in the club where she is constantly being hassled by the drunks, Oskar is tired of life in general. She saves him when he's about to throw himself off the bridge – but he’s not grateful. Frieda is an extrovert, throws herself into life, isn’t at all shy of approaching other people and is completely unscrupulous as far as the property of others is concerned. Oskar, on the other hand, is an introvert and seeks mathematical solutions to all human problems. She no longer has any parents and he would prefer to be in the same position. She steals the car, he has to drive it. They argue, get closer to one another, their feelings go up and down. But there isn’t any aurora borealis in the Norwegian summer.
The feature film debut of the director Isa Micklitza and the editor Stefanie Jaehde, who both grew up in Cottbus, is a fun-loving and touching tale about two young people in search of the meaning of life. WMH
