Trailer
Fixed roles are already pre-assigned for Zana and her brother in spite of their young age, as exemplified by their parents. The young man has long felt superior to his mother and strictly forbids her from reporting their father for battery. Zana inevitably sees herself when she looks into her mother's smashed and submissive face.
More Raça shows a lot of empathy in telling credible stories about the everyday life of ordinary women and gives them the strength to fight for justice and the capacity to act. Zana's future is uncertain, but this uncertainty means freedom for her for the first time. DJ
