ROAD ACCIDENT
Just a quick glance at her mobile phone and Olga has gone and hit the car of the fruit dealer Mansurdzhon and injured him. Mansurdzhon is able to calm her down and sends her back on her way with a smile and an apple. When a patrol car shows up, Olga has the chance to answer for her actions, but the fronts are immediately clear as far as the officials are concerned.
Instead of asking naive moral questions about Olga's decision, the film confronts its viewers with facts and shows how manipulation and intimidation can easily corner even people with the best of intentions. DJ

Anna Dezhurko - born in Moscow, Russia. She first graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Lomonosov State University of Moscow. She is currently studying directing at the renowned Moscow Film University VGIK. ROAD ACCIDENT is her graduation film for which she has won a special film critic’s guild award at this year’s Kinotavr film festival.
