Vlada is an accomplice, even a partner in crime, one who doesn't dare to defend himself, who sacrifices his inner morals in order to provide his family with an income, but who, in the end, loses the trust of his son. He represents a generation that has ensconced itself without optimism between shared responsibility for the wars in former Yugoslavia and hopes and fears for a better present. WMH
