After the tragic accidental death of her mother eighteen-year-old Kitka lives with her grouchy father, for whom she gradually assumes the role of housewife. Spending her days in their living room situated by the cemetery where the father earns his living as a stonemason and spends the evenings drinking away his family sorrows new needs begin to awaken in Kitka; growing-up starts to get in the way of her otherwise selfless performing of her duties, family and individualism collide. On the path to self-fulfilment she even receives help from the afterworld.
A playful family drama complete with an unconventional magical twist and a portion of black humour.
