For the purposes of a colour seminar the director has a red flag passed from hand to hand, in a relay race, through the streets West Berlin. To conclude the subversive gesture the flag is then successfully raised above the Schöneberg city hall.

Gerd Conradt - born 1941 in Schwiebus, Germany. Having successfully trained as a photographer Conradt signed up as one of the first students at the German Film and Television Academy DFFB. Has since 1982 been active as a freelance director and cameraman.
