BURIED LAND
Bosnian war refugee Emir returns as the assistant of American documentary filmmakers to his place of birth which, in 2005, hit the headlines when archaeologists sensationally discovered here the remains of "Europe's only pyramid". What however to scientists represents a fifteen-thousand-year-old cradle of civilisation is nothing more than a simple hill in the eyes of some locals. Emir thus sets off on a search for myths which require no truth in order to become reality. In doing so he questions how much Western doubt the newfound confidence of his homeland can handle and re-explores the relationship between myth and reason.

Geoffrey Alan Rhodes, Steven Eastwood - Geoffrey Alan Rhodes – Studied towards a post-graduated degree in fine arts from 2002 to 2005 at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Recipient of a PhD in Communication and Culture from York University, Toronto, Canada, in 2010.
Steven Eastwood – Bachelor in fine arts from the University of Plymouth, England, in 1994. In 1997 he founded the production company Paradogs Films. Gained a PhD from University College London in 2007.
