In an Irish film on two lovers' survival of the Kosovo War it is Aida and Edi who are earmarked to play the leading roles. Yet where there is love we also find crises, and so, with the appearance of the filmmaker, begin the discussions common to every relationship: thus whilst the Irish director researches bloody massacres the future protagonists debate the pros and cons of a life spent together. A carefully narrated reflection on the inner psychological state of a traumatised society on the search for normality and the differing interpretations of truth in East and West.
