The personnel manager of Israel's largest bakery has until now performed reasonably well. That is, until the fact that a bakery employee has fallen victim to a suicide bomber escapes his attention and he is accused of being inhuman. He investigates the identify of the dead woman and accompanies her on her last journey home to Eastern Europe. There he encounters an obstinate consul, a destroyed family and a score of curiosities that force him to rethink his own life. A profound tragicomedy on modern-day working environments, East-West relations and the omnipresence of death.
