Trouble is brewing between Martina and Peter, an American couple both around forty years old. A holiday together on the Croatian coast was intended to straighten things out. Yet during a hunting excursion to the hinterland the dispute escalates when Peter learns of unexpected business troubles. The tension of the marital dispute transmits itself to the travelling party as a whole. Thus, in the summer heat of the Dalmatian Karst, unfolds a collective psychological drama, whose various protagonists prove themselves to be overwhelmed by the absence of any civilisation.
