Ten-year-old Alfons Wobble-Cheeks is a remarkable individual full of energy and ideas. Always on the look for new adventures he astonishes and amazes everyone around him. With a name like Wobble-Cheeks troubles are always around the corner however; time and again it proves a source of irritation. Only his girlfriend Micki can be relied upon to stay by his side.
A comedy based on the classic children's book by Gerhard Holtz-Baumert.

Konrad Petzold - born 1930 in Radebeul. Attended the DEFA youth training academy from 1949 to 1951. Studied directing at the "FAMU" film school in Prague in 1952-1956.
