Beata receives a phone call in the middle of a party. Little does she know that it will change her life. The caller is Sygita, a friend from distant childhood. After the brief conversation, both of them notice how their former affection and closeness come flooding back along with the happy memories of growing up together in a small town. They once vowed that nothing and nobody would ever separate them, but saw each other less frequently as the years passed, and finally not at all. After moving to the city, Beata was engrossed in her film career. But for all the glitter and glamour, the business has its dark sides, and she often feels lonely, feels her every move is criticized. Sygita stayed in the provincial town, seemed to have her life under perfect control, got married, gave birth to a daughter. But her family life is less harmonious than it looks to the outside world.

And now, years later, the two women meet again. But it’s not long before their revived friendship is put to the test. And now they must decide how much their relationship really is worth to them.
