SRETNO DIJETE

In the early 1980s Yugoslav youth danced to the music of homegrown bands like Azra, Pankrti, Film, Haustor, Idoli, Bjelo dugme and Električni orgazam. Against the background of a stagnating economy, the death of the charismatic Tito, and the emergence of the first symptoms of political crisis, the young generation created its own variant of rock. Almost two decades later, the director sets out in search of the heroes of his youth and of a bygone age and explores the connection between punk rock and the demise of communism.
