Spring 1987. A border brigade of the People’s Army is leading a debauched life at the Yugoslav-Albanian border, killing time with schnapps, marijuana and girls. Lieutenant Pasić has reaped a sexually transmitted disease he is determined to keep secret from his wife. To avoid being sent home on leave, he invents a hostile act by Albania. The border post is placed on high alert, home leave is cancelled, and the drama takes its course. KARAVLA is the first film production involving the participation of all the ex-Yugoslav republics after the collapse of the federation.
