ABSCHIED
FAREWELL

17-year-old Hans Gastl is a rebel. As the son of the senior public prosecutor in Munich, his refusal to serve in the First World War is a shock to everybody around him, especially his parents. But Hans refuses to comply with hypocritical adult morality, and as a result is obliged to bid farewell to his comfortable bourgeois life.
