A documentary showing the invasion of the Warsaw Pact troops and the spontaneous demonstrations of the civilian population on 21 August 1968. The dramatic footage was shot clandestinely by Stanislav Milota, illegally edited by Evald Schorm, and first shown in public in 1990.

Evald Schorm - born 1931 in Prague; died 1988 in Prague. He studied at FAMU, Prague from 1957 to 1962. His films were banned after the crushing of the Prague Spring. Schorm remained in the ČSSR, where he continued to produce operas and plays, television dramas, and feature films.
