RUKA
THE HAND

An average citizen finds his private life being disrupted by an omnipresent, oversized hand.
At the time of its making, this allegory on the overpowering might of totalitarianism was vilified by the authorities, who sensed its criticism of the personality cult. The sombre tone is a striking departure from the otherwise more lighthearted mood of this director’s work.
