The stories of Maria, Steso and Allan, all of them struggling to survive in the drug scene of Aalborg in Denmark. Maria is trapped in an unequal relationship with Asger, a dealer on whom she is dependent. Young Steso has given himself over to excessive drug consumption, and begins to question his lifestyle only after Tilda, his childhood sweetheart, walks out on him. Allan was once heavily involved in the local drug scene, and now returns to his hometown after a long sea journey. The past now claims its dues. ANGELS IN FAST MOTION is based on the cult novel “Nordkraft” by Jakob Ejersbo.
