17-year-old Malte lives with his father in a dilapidated villa in Ahlbeck, a Baltic seaside resort. His mother died years ago, his sister has gone West. The drabness of life is brightened up by his Polish friend Pavel, a beach gigolo who introduces him to Annika. Malte hesitantly begins to fall in love with her. Suddenly, Malte’s sister re-appears with her 5-year-old son, who becomes a new source of strength in the teenager’s life.

Till Endemann - born 1976 in Hamburg. From 1997 to 2002, he studied directing at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg, and now works as a scriptwriter and filmmaker.
