As an openly gay presenter Erik is an authoritative figure in his homeland and for many an idol and source of encouragement. He's due to marry his partner, but in Amsterdam rather than conservative Hungary. That is until an accident leads him off the rails; Suddenly he starts to throw glances at women, even going as far as to fall in love with one as he lapses into the behavioural habits of the heterosexual men he once considered laughable. How is Erik now to retain his composure? He reinvents himself as a twin, as the storyline takes it course. COMING OUT is a genre comedy which proved a boon for Hungarian box offices, perhaps partly for the fact that it feigns what is not: An idyllic world for homosexuals in Hungary.
