Two men lugging a large cabinet come into town from the beach. They walk around in search of a lodging for themselves and the piece of furniture. The locals seem very wary of the two strangers.

Roman Polański - born 1933 in Paris, of Jewish-Polish descent. After the end of the war he worked for radio and theatre and wrote radio plays for children. He studied directing at PWSFTViT in Łódż from 1954 to 1959, emigrated to the USA in the 1960s and now lives in France and Poland.
