Gaspar’s morning schedule reads: get up, breakfast, feed the swine, leave for work. But today things don’t go to plan: he slips on the dung when feeding the pigs and has to wait helplessly to be found in the sty. His grandmother repeatedly wonders aloud why Gaspar should be staying so long with the pigs, but nobody takes her seriously any more. It takes a good while before they start searching – by which time it’s too late.

A blackly humorous slice of life that did, if the radio can be believed, happen exactly as depicted.

Karchi Perlmann - born in Budapest. He initially worked as a photographer, and subsequently directed a number of commercials and music videos. VACSORA is his first short film and also his screenwriting debut.
