There’s nothing worse than little brothers. Pesky telltales that dog your every step. You can’t take a step alone, or not without being observed. So big brother clears off and lets kid brother go fishing alone. A fish bites and swims off with the hook, the kid on the other end of the rod goes flying after it and lands in deep water. By the time the big boy sees what’s going on and dives in after him, it looks like it could be too late.

A film about growing up.

Jan Wagner - born 1975 in Hanover. He studied at the German Film & Television Academy (dffb) in Berlin from 1997 to 2000, and works as a screenwriter and assistant director. Since 2003, he has been a student of directing at the Polish National Film School PVSFTviT in Łódż.
