Jona has recently taken up residence not far from a Thracian shrine. According to legend a treasure trove is located beneath his new abode. When a treasure hunting Bulgarian Professor appears together with his American wife, Jona initially reacts dismissively. Soon however, the three of them are having disputes over the tale and its betrayal, traditions and interethnic misunderstandings. In the process new romances also come to pass.
This multi-faceted farce is narrated by a billy goat, who disappovingly observes how these self-appointed custodians of historical heritage time and again tie themselves up in contradictions.
