Which way today
Twenty years ago the director Rangel Valchanov assembled twenty-six young actors and actresses for his film A SEGA NAKADE? In the film the participants of a casting were manipulated by an anonymous committee, nobody was allowed to leave the hall. Now the participants meet again to reflect upon opportunities taken and missed, as well as the changes that have taken place in Bulgaria. On this occasion the setting is controlled by a businessman and the protagonists are no longer standing behind closed doors, the compound however is still supervised, this time by a private security firm.
An unusual cinematic experiment on the “Wende”-generation and the acting profession.

Rangel Valchanov - born 1928 in Krivina, Bulgaria. Completed his studies of the dramatic arts at The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 1952. Was involved in the first Bulgarian film productions after the Second World War in the capacity of actor and assistant producer. Began to direct films on his own in 1958.
