When one day a talent scout from the American National Hockey League (NHL) turns up, their brotherly love is put to the test: Igor is offered a highly promising contract to play in American league. Without his headstrong brother he doesn't however want to leave his homeland, yet Mikhail hasn't a chance of making it as a professional in the NHL because of his alcohol problems...

Andrey Proshkin - born 1969 in Moscow, where he graduated in journalism from Moscow State University in 1994. Later attended further courses in directing and screenwriting in the same city. Worked from 1998-2000 as a director for the TV stations ROSSIYA and RenTV.
